Boy Nursery - Geometric Shapes

I think this is super cute with the circles, and I like the color pallette of neutrals with an orangey red color pop. CUTE bedding.

I like the idea of a simple 3-drawer chest that they just put a changing pad on, so you can easily transition the furniture once you're no longer changing. I like the letters, too - although i'm not sure i'm feeling the broken up ones?? (the a and y). I don't know - cute though.

I have that chair from Ikea! haha I think the piece of furniture next to it is too big (the blue shelves). In my opinion it needs a smaller table.

Those locker shelves are cute, but the stuff on them seems random and that window is screaming for some sort of window treatment, even if it's just sheers. (or like those $10 Wilma panels from Ikea).
Yes. This picture confirms that it's just too tight over in that corner, don't you think? I feel like we're missing a wall - what's on the wall to the right when you come in? Hmmm.
Either way - lots of cute ideas, great color pallette and I like the clean, modern look. I just feel like with the 3 smaller pieces of furniture it made it a bit cluttered (instead of, say, 2 pieces of furniture with one larger). What do you think? Like the colors? Like the "sawyer"?

Blue and Orange Again... but Whimsical - I like!

I like the wall decals and love hte bedding. I like how they made traditionally male colors much more gender netural and even feminine!

Cute toys - I believe they said these were the inspiration for the room.

Cutie, cute cute, simple and clean. The furniture is too traditional for my taste but I like the blue, burnt orange and white. Personally, I would only do one wall blue and leave the rest khaki (at most - or all khaki and do blue for the window treatments, sheets, rug and accents.

What do you think? Blue for a girl? Like the feminine twist on it?

Boy Aquatic Themed Room

Love the orange pop wall and the subtle blue with orange and brown - fabulous!

Like the drawer unit - think the shelves look a bit awkward there as does the clock off to the side. And the stuff next to the drawers looks cluttered.

Loving the collage!

Very cool collage and the chair/pillow look good! The guy said he bought the art on iStock (vector files) for cheap and then dropped it on a color background in Photoshop to print - SMART!! (and cheap)

A close up - the chair's shape looks a bit odd in this picture...

Thoughts? Do you like the underwater idea? Do you like the light blue with chocolate and bight orange? Anything you would do different?

Owls + Baby Wallart

I don't know what that is above the bed - some kind of bird? But I think it's awesome. And the crib is cute with the white + wood. And I see curly willow in the corner so clearly I love it! haha

This is a close up of the bedding "crazy owls." hehe I wish it didn't look so busy from far away. They had CUTE bedding with yellow/green mushrooms (I loovvvveee mushrooms) but from a distance it was like hmmm. I dunno.
Are owls on their way out?
Is that wallart over the crib cool or creepster?

Pretty Pallette for Nursery

HATE the rug - but love the tan walls, white crib and orange/fushia bedding. Subtle and pretty. Wish I had more pics of htis room - but I think white furniture on khaki walls is great for a nursery - with the color pops occuring in bedding, window treatments, wall art and throws. (for the glider)

PInk & Green g-baby Nursury

Upon first glance I like it - I think the tree looks a little too homemmade and the lighting is a little funky but it seems like a clean lines, organized room.

This feels cluttered. The mobile isn't working for me, I don't get the rug at all and it's just too much.

cuter up close!!

Super oraganized - but too close the crib and I think come out too far for the size of the room.

Cute idea - I hate those boxes!
Yes- not working. The room is just too small for all of this stuff, that clock needs to come down, they need to lighten up those windows with white shades, I don't get the dark chair in the corner, the clock is in an odd place on the wall.....

So I guess it's just not working for me. It seems disconnected and there's just too much furniture in that room!

What do you think??

A Playroom in Mustard

This room screams playroom to me - I don't know why. Love that mustard color with the white furniture, and normally I don't like a large entertainment center, but I think cabinets and cubbies with baskets would be smart for kids. Those cozy cubes look fun, too!

It's electric!!

K - let me preface this all by saying that I think that color is WAY too bold (for me). Maybe on one wall? Or maybe on wall with a few horizontal stripes? I dunno - but it's INTENSE! K... that being said, here goes!

Love the curtain hung high, the "fruit" art, the blue chair, the "bird cluster, and that awesome blue lamp.

Um, too cute - matching blue lamp and awesome cluster of colorful frames/animals!! Also think those bins are TOO cute!

I love all of the seating! But now that I look at it - who would sit in that little blue chair?

What do you think? Lots ot like but WHOA that room is seriously electric!!

Boy Room - Kinda Not my Thing But....

So - I think this room is weird... BUT I love the idea of a dark wall in a boy's room - I like the contrast. I also like the idea of a funky chair thing (the yellow thig). The art is fun, too. It's simple and clean - I think i'd totally go for a clean look in a boy room with cubbies for toys, toys toys!!

Cute Girl Ideas... If Husband is Handy!

This lady did these - I think in their lake house or something? I dunno - basically the ceiling was slated and they made use of the area with built-in beds. I think I would have LOVED these as a child - and also think it makes great use of space (i mean really - what else do you do with that weird under-wall area??

Love the mounted overhead light and the dubbies for books - CLEVER! It's like a fancy, electricity-powered tent (and climate controlled to boot!).

What do you think?

Yellow & Teel Contemporary Nursery

This one is one of my favorites! I love the Ikda/Contemporary look and the pretty, light colors. I believe I showed this one to Devon and she had seen it and loved it, too!

Not crazy about the mobile but everything else is working for me!

I would probably do different window treatments and maybe a grouping between the windows??

Adorable - love the chair, love the circles covered in Fabric - cheap and add a lot! Definitely love the cubbies!

The Elephant hamper looks great with this room! The room needs a rug (I know - i never say that - but hardwoods in a nursery with no rug is scary!) I'm pretty sure this nursery owner said they were in the process of finding one!

Cutie, cute! I think I would want more baskets in the cubby (maybe one more row on the second one up) and an ottoman (unless that's a recliner - it doesn't look like a recliner though?) And I don't know what that little banner is above the cubbies... but I don't like it...

What do you think? Cute bedding, right? Overall adorable room!

Little Girl's Room

I think she was 8 year's old?? I dunno. But I love her room and think it's fabulous. Mom - this is the one I was saying had READ on the walls!! In a little montage. Love...

Cute painted table/chair

Fab lamp and bin for books

Adorable above bed collage (a little too busy for my taste but like the idea)
Fabulous pillow

TV cabinet with antique-like curtain... i'm not a huge fan??

You can see the colors great here - love them (cherry red + granny apple green!)
More fabulous pillows

Awesome chair

Great view of bed area
It looks cute with the curtains pulled back! Love the bins and ribbon tie-backs.

What do you think?? I think it's fun and youthful and reminds me a bit of anthro. But I think it needs a bit of editing for my taste!! Definitely lots of ideas!!

Nursery Month Continues...

Cute wall art, right? It reminds me SO MUCH of Mrs. Grossman's scrapbook sticker letters - love it. And I like the idea of spelling out a word, rather than a child's name. I feel like the name is there a lot, you know? What do you think? What words would be cute?

Cute Ideas for Boy Nursery

This room is a little too dark for me to love, but I do think they have some cute ideas. First, I love the alphabet bedding/window treatment. I wouldn't want a valance, but would like drapes! I think it's cute! I'm not crazy about those little shelves - weird and not functional to me.

It looks like there's something cute going on the left with the numbers. I think the furniture looks silly with that one high shelf??

The art is funky cool - like -and I like these shelves - MUCH more functional to me.

His name over the closet blends in too much, right? I think the crib in the middle of the room like that is interesting though, huh?

That cat is creepy as all get out... and the clock looks lost - needs to go.

There's the numbers - that's cute to me (kind of blens in a bit much though). The linens on the glider are cute too - but again, the glider blends a bit much - chocolate on chocolate on chocolate!

So definitely some do's and don'ts here for me - but I think this nursery did have some good ideas!
